The unique design of differing diameter twin-wells with central colored disc, blends form with optimal function. The smaller well is the site for donor Descemet’s membrane (DM) removal, followed by gentle immersion into the adjacent larger well containing cell stain solution. The circular rim of the larger well allows for dye dilution with BSS while preventing any significant contact of the DM to the Weck-Cel sponge. This block is housed within the John DMEK base for added stability.
